Project Updates

Commonwealth Campus faculty can take advantage of funded opportunities for establishing collaboration with staff at core facilities and research centers at University Park through two new research programs. The goal of these programs is to provide Commonwealth Campus faculty access to equipment, research infrastructure, technical staff, and faculty teams at University Park.

In 2018, OSVPR in collaboration with multiple institutes and colleges launched the Commonwealth Campuses Research Collaboration Development Program (CCRCDP). The program aims to encourage and support both independent and collaborative research projects between faculty at Commonwealth Campuses, University Park, and the College of Medicine.

Based upon the outcome of the CCRCDP program, in 2019, OSVPR in collaboration with the University’s institutes, the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, and the Vice President of the Commonwealth Campuses launched the Commonwealth Campuses Center Nodes (C3N) program. The goal of this program is to build collaboration between University Park-based research-active centers and faculty teams at Commonwealth Campuses.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact Odette Mina, Commonwealth Campuses Collaboration Programs Coordinator and Managing Director of the Energy and Environmental Sustainability Laboratories. You can also visit our FAQ page.
